Website Rubric

JCPS websites are progressing nicely and we have prepared a rubric to help everyone clarify the requirements of your school's website. We will be using this rubric to audit each school's website in the spring semester. Please use this tool to ensure your school's site is meeting all of the necessary requirements. You can access the rubric here . As a reminder we are holding a webmaster work session today (Tuesday, Nov. 28th) at the West Campus Computer Lab from 2-5 p.m. We will be happy to assist you on any of your website needs at the session.

Banner MMR Images

We have created several Banner MMR images that are available for your use. You can access those photos here . We will be adding more images to the folder over time. There are currently Character Education photos through the month of December. We will provide images that match those that are featured on the district's site when available.

Teacher Website Transfers Complete

All teacher website transfers that were submitted through the form have now been completed. If you submitted a teacher transfer request through the form please verify that it now appears on your school's site. If you submitted a teacher's name to be transferred to your site and it is still not appearing on your school's website you will need to create a new section for them. You can find instructions on how to create a new teacher section in a previous post . Webmaster Work Session Dates Announced

The dates for the 2017-2018 webmaster work sessions have been set. Based on feedback from webmasters we doubled the amount of work session opportunities this school year. All session are floating from 2-5 p.m. and will be held in the West Campus Computer Lab. Please use the links below to add these session to your calendars. Website Go-Live UPDATE

The new JCPS websites are scheduled to Go-Live on Monday, July 17. Beginning Monday morning we will begin the process of making the sites public. If all goes well, the sites should be up by late afternoon. However, there are a few variables that could potentially delay the process by 24-48 hours.

Transferring Teacher Websites

Website Go-Live Date

The projected Go-Live date for the new websites is Monday, July 17. Webmasters needing to access the old SharpSchool sites should be able to until Aug. 1. To access the old sites after the new websites go live, please try using your school's URL listed below. Teachers Can Edit Websites Now

We have been asked multiple times since the "Schoolwires Training for Webmasters" when teachers can begin working on their new sites. Teachers have rights to begin editing their sections now. They can log in using their current AD credentials on the same site as webmasters:  https://nc02214550.schoolwires.net/ . Webmasters should begin training staff members as soon as possible to give teachers time to migrate content before the new sites go live on July 1. Also as a reminder there will be a webmaster work session today from 2-5 p.m. in the West Campus Computer lab for those needing assistance. Thursday, May 18, 2-5pm - WC Computer Lab
